Pace Board, Pace University’s Entertainment Committee introduced Live Love Laugh last year. The event is marketed as a grown and sexy affair featuring comedians, spoken word artists and a special performer. Last year, soul artist Musiq, tore the place down, bringing out a full band and the works. This year audience members were given red and green glow sticks. Red were given to people who were taken and green represented those who were single. Performers included Black Ice, former Def Poetry Jam artist. Trey Songz closed the night, performing his hit singles including the new, “Last Time”. His performance was lack luster compared to Musiq’s last year, but he definitely kept all of the ladies attention. His girlfriend stood on the wings of the stage looking on as the ladies of the audience got kinda rowdy with her man. At one point, Songz ripped his shirt off, which ended up around his waist. When eager girls from the crowd proceeded to try to grab the wife beater from around his hips, Trey’s 500 lb body guard proceeded to yoke Trey up from the girls. Hilarity indeed. Over all the event was pretty good, especially since it was free. Pace Board should continue to put on programming such as this one.
